The Lipscomb & Pitts Breakfast Club (LPBC) is a team of partner businesses working together to enrich business leaders and impact the community. The LPBC has been serving the Mid-South since 2005. The organization facilitates over one hundred events throughout the year, with the intent of providing enrichment opportunities, fostering teamwork, and empowering give back in our community. Events range from workshops and seminars to the large Signature Breakfasts with national guest speakers, from weekly executive lunches to social mixers, from golf scrambles to family events. Events also include nonprofit tours, volunteer days, and board placement luncheons. The simple idea is to serve as a community resource by helping business leaders become more successful, then serving as a conduit to get them more engaged in the community. By engaging thousands in "plug-and-play" opportunities to personally grow, build stronger relationships, and give back in the process, we can make a huge impact in our community. Member businesses are exclusive in their core business category and come together to underwrite the costs of these events, so the LPBC can invite all businesses and community leaders to participate. The Signature Breakfast is perhaps the most recognizable event hosted by the Lipscomb & Pitts Breakfast Club. These events, which are known to be the largest monthly gathering of business decision makers in the Mid-South, bring together a large cross-section of leaders with the intent of empowering teamwork and fellowship, along with business and community development. You can follow us each Monday in our Daily News column, Giving Back, and listen to the Lipscomb & Pitts Breakfast Club Radio Show, Powered by Teamwork, on KWAM 990AM each Saturday at 1p.
